NYCRUNS’ new race had some logistical challenges, including funneling 20,000+ runners through a single security checkpoint and not having enough volunteers to properly operate some water tables.

The Half Marathoners, among them 4 Osprey (Alex G, Shaina, Amy C, and Julie) had a mostly positive experience. Alex G managed a 1 minute PR!

For the Full Marathoners, the day was a bit more of a struggle. But Caspar, Alex F, and Carl ran the full 26.2.

Simone volunteered at the finish and gave Alex F a much needed hug along with his medal.
