Jigar continues to find obscure races to run as part of his marathon training long runs — this time it was a Rockaway Beach half marathon he ran as part of a 20-mile effort. JT was one of just 15 runners to complete the Half (other participants ran a shorter 5K instead).
Coincidentally, as Jigar was flying down the Rockaway boardwalk, a flock of teammates were finishing up a long runsploration from Columbus Circle to Rockaway Beach. What a fun surprise for all involved! After a brief photo op, Jigar continued on with the race while his overheated teammates went for a much-needed swim.
