It was “a perfect day for a run” on beautiful Governors Island, in the words of Julie, who ran with her mother and enjoyed a nice family picnic.
Osprey #2, Amy, had a pretty nice day herself — placing 2nd out of 30 runners in her age group!
In total, 310 runners opted for the 5K, while others did an extra lap for the 10K race.
