The Fred Lebow Half is known for its tough course and conditions, and 2022 lived up to the reputation. The route started on the upper east side of Central Park and featured 3 climbs of Harlem Hill in its 2+ loops of the park. And January meant chilly temperatures!
11 Osprey were among the 4,577 runners up to the challenge. Plus the day featured Emily running loops in the opposite direction, cheering on her teammates, and Ruth bundled up at the finish line as a volunteer.
Technically, this was Alex F'.’s first official Half Marathon race, and Melissa somehow registered a PR! Patricia was a star, as she often is, placing 3rd in her age group.
