There was nothing “mini” about this race! 2,874 runners competed in this female-only event, including a whopping 18 Osprey!
The race featured staggered-start waves with runners starting in groups of 3, but with the large, festive crowds, it felt like we were inching back to “normal” in this post-pandemic world.
Pro runner Sara Hall won the event in 31:33 (a blistering 5:05 pace!), while among us mere mortals, Patricia shined, placing 8th out of 291 participants from her age group.
It was a challenging run on a humid morning, but a party in the park enjoyed by runners and spectators alike.
